Today, a highly successful Bid Writing Workshop took place in Belfast, bringing together professionals from across the construction sector for an engaging and informative session.

The workshop provided a comprehensive overview of how to complete both Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQs) and Invitations to Tender (ITTs). Participants also explored key topics such as quality management, social value in construction, the importance of professional qualifications, and strategies to maximise digital marketing for tender success.
Attendees included representatives from main contractors, specialist subcontractors, design consultants, and students, all contributing to a lively and collaborative learning environment.
Congratulations to those who won spot prizes for their insightful answers to questions on:
· The Building Safety Act.
· NEC programme requirements.
· Social value weighting in public sector tenders.
A special thank you goes to guest speaker Suzanne Hill from AI for SMEs, who delivered an inspiring presentation on digital transformation in the construction industry. Her session featured a live demonstration of innovative bid management software, highlighting the growing role of technology in modern tendering.
